Hentland

self catering holiday accommodation in dubricius country

Hentland is a quiet hamlet 4 miles from Ross on Wye. Hentland is a corruption of the Welsh hen llan - the old church - suggesting a religious foundation of great antiquity. It is thought that the church is on the site of the original monastery of St Dyfrig (alias Dubricius) the famous 6th century Bishop of Glywysing & Gwent.
