border with Monmouthsire and Wales. It is ideally situated close to the
beautiful Wye Valley and the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean,

on foot, bicycle
or horseback. Caving, abseiling and a high wire rope course are on

canoeing. The area
is rich in archaelogical sites, including Pembridge Castle contructed
