| Wormelow
is 6 miles south of Hereford, between Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye and
Hereford. The whole area is surrounded by stunning countryside and
offers excellent walking, cycling, fishing and bird-watching amidst the
scenic Wye Valley, Forest of Dean and the Golden Valley. Wormelow
Tump was a mound which in local tradition was the burial place
of King Arthur's son Amhar. It was opposite the Tump Inn but was
removed in 1896 to widen the road. |
